Terms & Conditions

1. Conclusion of Contract

1.1 Applicability

These Terms & Conditions apply to all agreements between Posture London (“the Company”) and participants booking our multi-day retreats, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

1.2 Booking and Confirmation

A booking is considered binding once Posture London confirms your place via email. Participation is only guaranteed when the £250 non-refundable deposit has been paid. Full payment of the remaining balance must be received by the stated deadline.

1.3 Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of the retreat unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Retreat Details

2.1 Retreat Structure

Posture London offers multi-day Pilates retreats including group sessions, workshops, accommodation, and meals as outlined in our promotional materials or website.

2.2 Rooms & Optional Extras

Rooms are shared as standard (two guests per room), each with an ensuite.
Private rooms may be requested but are only confirmed if explicitly agreed by Posture London and subject to availability and additional fees.

Services not included in the base retreat price:

  • Flights (self-booked by participants)

  • Airport transfers

  • Optional treatments (e.g., massages, therapies)

2.3 Food

All meals listed in the itinerary are included. Dietary requirements should be shared in advance. While every effort is made to accommodate preferences and allergies, an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed.

2.4 Participant Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for:

  • Booking and paying for their own flights

  • Ensuring valid travel documents (passport, visa if required)

  • Having valid travel and health insurance

  • Meeting any local entry or health-related requirements

 

3. Prices and Payment

3.1 Pricing

Prices are final and include applicable taxes.

3.2 Payment Terms

  • A £250 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place.

  • Remaining balance is due by 28 April 2026.

  • Payments must be made via BACS unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Discounts and Promotions

Any promotional rates are valid only during the stated period and cannot be combined with other discounts.

 

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by Participant

  • Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

  • If a cancelled space is filled by someone on the waiting list, a partial refund of the remaining balance (excluding the deposit) may be possible.

  • If the space cannot be filled, no refund will be issued.
    Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain travel cancellation insurance.

4.2 Non-Attendance

No refund is issued for missed sessions, early departure, late arrival, or partial participation.

4.3 Statutory Rights

Any statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

4.4 Cancellation by Posture London

If Posture London cancels the retreat, participants will receive a full refund including the deposit. We are not responsible for additional costs such as flights or travel arrangements.

 

5. Liability

5.1 Participation at Own Risk

All activities during the retreat are undertaken at the participant’s own risk. Participants must have appropriate travel and health insurance valid in Portugal. Any relevant medical conditions must be disclosed prior to the retreat.

5.2 No Liability for External Factors

Posture London is not liable for:

  • Injuries or health-related issues

  • Lost or damaged property

  • Delays, missed flights, or travel disruptions

  • Weather conditions or environmental factors

5.3 Limitation of Liability

Liability for simple negligence is limited to foreseeable damages related to essential contractual obligations.

5.4 Exclusions

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot be excluded by law, including for injury to life, body, or health.

5.5 Force Majeure

Posture London is not responsible for delays or non-performance caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, travel bans). In such cases, the Company may modify, postpone, or cancel the retreat.

 

6. Code of Conduct

Participants must behave respectfully toward fellow guests, staff, and the retreat venue. Posture London reserves the right to remove any participant from the retreat without refund in cases of:

  • Disruption

  • Harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behaviour

  • Endangerment of self or others

 

7. Changes to Programme

Posture London reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the schedule, instructors, or content where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, provided the core nature of the retreat remains intact.

 

8. Intellectual Property & Media

8.1 Intellectual Property

All class content, materials, and concepts shared during the retreat remain the intellectual property of Posture London.

8.2 Photography & Video

Photos and videos taken during the retreat may be used by Posture London for marketing purposes (e.g., social media, website, promotional materials). Participants may opt out by informing us in writing before the retreat begins.

 

9. Data Privacy

Personal data is collected solely for booking, communication, and retreat administration purposes. Data is handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws, including GDPR.

 

10. Final Provisions

10.1 Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by UK law, and any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

10.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions becomes invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions remain in full effect.
